The harvesting computer needs to be configured to create and save the StandForD files containing production and other information. This configuration depends on each type of harvester head controller installed in the machine.
The configuration for the most common harvester machines manufacturers is explained below. If your harvester head controller is not listed below you can contact your machine manufacturer or Treemetrics customer support (support@treemetrics.com) for further information.
Note that this tutorial is only a brief explanation to facilitate a basic configuration. If you have problems following this manual or for the full use of the harvester head controller software, please refer to the manufacturer user guide.
To create production files, a report should be created:
In the main menu go to 'Follow up -> Report'
In the report screen, open ‘Scheduled Report’ which is a hidden option to the right of the ‘Report’ title.
Ensure that the new report is enabled. ‘Active’ must be ‘On’. If not then select and press ‘Enable’. In screenshot ‘Enable’ will appear where ‘Disable’ is located.
Go to ‘Settings’ to ensure that harvest time is being added to each file.
Test by logging out. Checking that file is created in the share directory (above it was C:TMR).
Cut a few stems and log out again.
A new file should be created.
