After transferring the files from the harvester to the android device, the final step is to synchronise the files from the Android device to ForestHQ.

Before upload files with ForestHQ, files need to be transferred between form the harvester to the android device

HQ VIEW INTRODUCTION
HQ VIEW INTRODUCTION
If needed, to to HQ view to start transferring the files to the ForestHQ.
The HQ view is split in 2 sections:
Uploaded Files: Files already uploaded to ForestHQ
Select for Upload: Files transferred from the Harvester computer that can be uploaded to ForestHQ.
If the harvesting machine files have been transferred successfully, the production files should be should be shown in the Select for upload list.
The files shown in the Select for upload list are only the files associated to the Harvester and Operation selected on the top of the view.
NOTE FOR MANUAL TRANSFER
Note that files manually transferred into the /TM/HarvestSync/ directory on the the android device are not associated with a Harvester or Operation until upload.
These files are always visible in the 'Select for upload' list and will be associated to the Harvester and Operation that is selected in the app.
These files are marked with the symbol shown in the figure on the right.

To upload a file / files from the device to ForestHQ, the use should select the files from the "Select for upload" list.
Multiple files can be uploaded at a time
To begin selection: Long-press (touch and hold) a file until the colour changes to blue
To select a more files: Tap each desired file (the colour changes to blue)
To deselect a file: Tap the selected file (the colour reverts to white)
Once the desired files are selected press the "Sync" button to start with the synchronization.
Successfully uploaded files are shown in the "uploaded files" list marked with a check mark and are no longer available in the "Select for upload" list.
The uploaded files are also removed from the ‘/TM/HarvestSync/’ folder on the device.
The files are on now available on ForestHQ, associated with the selected Operation and Harvester. Go to the next section to learn how to view the associated files in the ForestHQ platform.
