USB Tethering:
Need to activate USB Tethering in your mobile device to connect the machine PC.
Files are transferred to you mobile device via USB connection.
USB tethering has the fastest speeds.
If you do not know how to configure a USB Tethering, you can follow the instructions below for the main phone manufactures.
1. Attach your Android to the Machine PC.
Use the cable to connect both via USB.
2. Depending on your mobile make & model you maybe asked to select the use of the USB connection.
You should select the "Transfer Files" or similar option
In some brands of mobiles, this option will bring you automatically to the Tethering section (step 6).
Otherwise you should follow these steps:
3. Go to "Settings" in your device. You can select this icon among the other apps in your device.
4. Find "Networks & Internet", on the Android device.
Depending on the brand this could also be named " Wireless& networks" or " Connections"
If this doesn't appear or anything similar go to "More" and find it.
5 Go to "Hotspot & Tethering"
Depending on the brand this could be "Tethering & portable hotspot" or "Mobile Hotspot and Tethering"
6. Enable USB tethering option
(This option it's only available when the Android device and the machine PC are connected via USB)
5. A notification should appear notifying to the user that the tethering is active.
If this is not happening, review the process and be sure that the USB tethering has been enabled correctly
The machine computer should automatically detect that a new type of network connection is available.
If you are asked, please enable "Allow to discover devices in this network". This message will only appear the first time that you connect the device
To check that you connection has been successful with the machine PC. Click the "Networks" icon in the Windows bar and from the list of available networks, "Local Area Connection" should be available.
The PC should connect correctly. If you have any issue review the steps described in the previous section
