2. Open HarvestSync App
The first time the app is opened the user may be prompted to grant storage permissions
An internet connection is required to authenticate. If you are already connected to the harvester computer via USB Tethering or WIFI router, please disconnect and connect to your regular internet provider.
The user can now authenticate and begin creating sync tasks to collect data files from the Harvester.
3. Login in the account with the user and the password.
If the authentication has been successfully, the user name is displayed with a welcome message:
The user has been correctly logged in
If the device has no internet an error will be shown in the screen
4. On the top on the screen the Harvester and the Operation menu is shown.
Select the Harvester and the Operation from the list before creating a task and running the synchronization
5. Go to the task creation menu to start creating a new Task.
Press the "+" symbol to add the new task.
Task are required to configure the file transfer between the harvester machine and HarvestSync.
More than one task can be crated if the user need to retrieve files from different folders in the Harvester machine.
6. A new Synchronization task is created for the active Operation and Harvester shown at the top
Edit the task:
Insert a name for the task
Choose the harvester computer from the list of network locations
7. Enter the harvester PC shared folder username and password to connect (if required)
8. Choose the shared folder in which are saved all the production data files in the harvester PC and “Save changes”
9. The task has been successfully created.
Press Sync button to start the synchronization.
The user can see the status of the synchronization, when this has finished the user can start with the next step to transfer those harvester files to ForestHQ page.
10. On the bottom on the screen there are the navigation buttons : The Harvester view the HQ view
Press the HQ icon to go to the HQ page to start transferring the files to the ForestHQ , the production files are now available n the Select for upload list and are ready to be uploaded to ForestHQ
